In the 1994 comedy 'Little Giants,' Rick Moranis and Ed O'Neill play the O'Shea brothers and rival youth league football coaches. O'Neill's Cowboys are big and obnoxious, just like their coach. Whereas Moranis' Giants are less physically imposing and plucky.
We'll give you one guess as to which team wins in the end.
To fill out the team's rosters, 'Little Giants' featured a slew of child actors. See what the young stars of 'Little Giants' are up to these days below.
Shawna Waldron, Becky "Icebox" O'Shea
Then: Waldron made an impression as Becky "Icebox" O’Shea, who proves girls can compete on the gridiron. It was the movie debut for Waldron, and the next year she played the first daughter in the Michael Douglas movie 'An American President.'
Now: Waldron is set to star in two upcoming films -- 'Stitch' and 'Nightlights.' Her most notable role of late was in the 2008 racy Lifetime movie 'Poison Ivy: The Secret Society.' Seriously, if you Google it at work, make sure you have Safe Search turned on, because that was embarrassing.
Devon Sawa, Junior Floyd
Then: Sawa played "dreamboat" quarterback Junior Floyd. It was the first American role for the Canadian actor, who went on to star in 'Wild America' and 'Final Destination.'
Now: Sawa currently plays Owen Elliot on 'Nikita.' He will also star alongside Mischa Barton in the upcoming horror movie 'The Sibling.'
Sam Horrigan, Spike Hammersmith
Then: You may remember Horrigan as Spike Hammersmith, the new kid in town who refuses to play ball with a girl. He went on to star as Quentin Kelly on the last three seasons of the sitcom 'Grace Under Fire.'
Now: Horrigan has done episodes of 'CSI' and 'True Blood' as an adult. However, he’s probably most famous for playing himself (and male “beauty”) on the fourth season of the reality show 'Beauty and the Geek.'
Courtney Peldon, Debbie O'Shea
Then: Peldon played Debbie O’Shea, one of the cheerleaders for the Cowboys and the daughter of the team’s coach. Previously Peldon had been a regular on the TV adaptation of 'Harry And The Hendersons.' She went on to play Jonathan Taylor Thomas' girlfriend Lauren on 'Home Improvement.'
Now: Peldon had a run on 'Boston Public' as an adult, and her last role was in the 2011 comedy 'Freeloaders.' She is set to appear in the upcoming TV movie 'Star Trek: Renegades.' In addition to acting, she is a jewelry designer.
Alexa Vega, Priscilla O'Shea
Then: Vega played the youngest O'Shea girl Priscilla. In 2001, she starred as Carmen Cortez in 'Spy Kids,' a role she has reprised in three sequels.
Now: Vega, who is also a singer, was the title character of the ABC Family channel show 'Ruby & The Rockits.' She is slated to be reunited with 'Spy Kids' director Robert Rodriquez in the much more adult movie 'Machete Kills' (see above).
Todd Bosley, Jake Berman
Then: Todd Bosley was Jack Berman in 'Little Giants.' It was his movie debut, and he followed it up with a supporting role in the Robin Williams' comedy 'Jack.' You may also remember him from a couple episodes of 'Seinfeld,' in which he plays a neighborhood boy that Kramer is asked to baby-sit.
Now: Bosley is best known today for playing Howie on the ninth season of 'Scrubs' and then on the short-lived spinoff 'Scrubs Interns.' He will be in the TV movie 'The Sticks.'
Jon Paul Steuer, Johnny "Viper" Vennaro
Then: In 'Little Giants,' Steuer was Johnny “Viper’ Vennaro. During that time period he was also starring as Brett Butler's son on 'Grace Under Fire.'
Now: Steuer hasn’t acted since 1996, when his 'Grace Under Fire' character was replaced by fellow 'Little Giants' actor Sam Horrigan. He was the lead singer of the glam rock band ‘The Soda Pop Kid,.’ but they broke up a few years ago.
Marcus Toji, Marcus
Then: Toji was the Little Giants' kicker Marcus "The Toe." He was 10-years-old when he took the part. Previously he was in 'Corrina, Corrina,' and maybe if you were really into 'Beverly Hills 90210' you might recognize him as "Kid #3" in the episode 'It's a Totally Happening Life.'
Now: Toji has steadily made appearances in television since 'Little Giants,' on programs including 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' 'Party Down' and, most recently, 'Happy Endings.' Looking at those shows, it's not too surprising that Toji is also part of a LA-based comedy troupe called Mission 6, with 'Little Giants' castmate Todd Bosley AKA "The Bermanator"!!! Do you recognize that feeling? That's the feeling of dying and going to nostalgia heaven.
