If you saw 'Machete Kills' in the theater, chances are you caught a glimpse at the trailer for 'Machete Kills Again ... In Space,' the promised third entry in the 'Machete' trilogy. Unfortunately, this might be all we get of 'Machete 3,' so enjoy it while you can. Since 'Machete Kills' only brought in $14 million at the box office, we might not be getting the Machete space adventure we were all promised.

At the end of 'Machete Kills,' audiences were treated to a sneak peek of 'Machete Kills Again ... In Space,' which features Machete (Danny Trejo) heading off to space to continue fighting the good fight with co-stars Alexa Vega, Michelle Rodriguez, Lady Gaga and ... Justin Bieber and Leonardo DiCaprio? Yeah, sure, why not.

But sadly, since the film under performed, the trailer might be all there is of the planned sequel. Director Robert Rodriguez teased at Comic-Con a couple of years ago that he had a 'Machete' trilogy in mind, culminating with a 'Machete 3' to be set in space, with Trejo battling villains in classic B-movie fashion. But since audience attraction to the franchise is waning, it doesn't look like we'll be seeing this spectacle on the big screen anytime soon.

For now, enjoy the trailer and imagine what might have been.
