Bestflix — ScreenCrush’s monthly video series dedicated to finding the best new stuff to watch on Netflix — is back with more recommendations for May 2015. (If you missed March or April’s episodes, it’s not too late to add more great films and TV shows to your MyList.)

This month on the show: Big trouble all over the globe, from Europe, to Alaska, to “Bad City” to Little China. May’s picks offer something for everyone, whether you’re an action fan, an animation devotee, or an indie film lover. Plus, Bestflix host Matt Singer brings you an important message about bears (namely that they suck. You suck, bears.) If you’re a bear, don’t waste your time, there’s nothing for you here.

(Also, if you’re a bear and you are somehow reading a film website, you have my respect. You still suck, though.)

We’ll be back in June with five new recommendations (plus two different recipes for guacamole [#servicejournalism]). Until then, don’t forget to browse the full list of what’s new and expiring on Netflix here at ScreenCrush. (Legally Blonde! Fruitvale Station! Legally Blonde 2! Okay, maybe skip that last one.) And make sure you subscribe to ScreenCrush’s YouTube Channel, so you never miss any of the latest episodes of Bestflix, Post Credits, or You Think You Know Movies.
