Do you see that look of disapproval on Arnold Schwarzenegger's face in the image above this sentence? That's how we feel about the latest batch of images from 'Terminator: Genisys,' a film that couldn't have have built up more bad press in the past 24 hours unless it was actively out to sabotage itself. Just scroll down and prepare to go, "Yikes."

Yesterday, Entertainment Weekly premiered the first images of Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke and Matt Smith through a preview of their cover story. Those amateur hour photos did not go over well. Even more controversial were the revelations about the plot, which teased a time travel storyline where Sarah Connor is raised by an aging Terminator played by franchise star, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

A wacky, reboot-heavy storyline is something we can live with, but all of these new images? Ouch.

The new batch of pictures from today includes our first look at Schwarzenegger himself in what appears to be an actual still from the movie. He looks completely and totally fine -- old, but still Arnold. That's cool. The rest of the images appear to have come from that same EW photo shoot and that's where everything goes horribly wrong. From Matt Smith's paintball gun to Emilia Clarke's baffled expression to Jai Courtney's general blankness, it all just just looks cheap and wrong. The only person who comes out of this not looking like an idiot is Jason Clarke and that's because he's Jason Clarke.

To be fair, most of these stills are not from the final movie and (hopefully) do not represent these characters as they'll appear in 'Terminator: Genisys.' At least we hope not. The fact that everyone thought these images were okay has us thinking that the Time Warner owned EW is out to crash and burn the competition. It's the only explanation!

'Terminator: Genisys' opens on July 1, 2015.
