When Director Darren Aronofsky released the first construction image of Noah's ark from the set of 'Noah' during San Diego Comic-Con week, we all just about wet ourselves with excitement. Since then, everyone's been glued to his Twitter account as he demonstrated time and time again that he likes to keep fans updated on the project with new set images and tweet updates.

Now the latest image to come from behind the scenes of 'Noah' gives us the first look inside the famous ark, but the semi-funny thing is that it didn't come from Aronofsky but rather Cinematographer Matthew Libatique.

Thanks to him, we have a glorious image to gawk at on top of the first look at Russel Crowe in Noah attire.  So what does the inside of Aronofsky's version of Noah's ark? If we can compare it to anything, it'd be to an 'Indiana Jones' movie -- we've got snakes galore, a few straggler animals here and there, and two glowing chests (?) radiating like the 'Raiders' ark.

Check out the first look at Noah's ark below and let us know your thoughts in the comments! Are you just as amped now for Aronofsky's Bible story epic?
