What if you found out that A) Your sperm had become sterile and B) that you once donated to a sperm bank that still had some of your donations? That's the premise of 'The Babymakers,' which stars Paul Schneider, Olivia Munn, and much of the Broken Lizard group. Check out the trailer.

Word from SXSW (where the picture screened) was that the film is scattershot but funny, though our own James Rocchi singled out Munn's performance as being terrible, which he described thusly: "Lifeless line delivery at high volume and the dead, doll-like eyes of a shark."

But scattershot has been the way with director Jay Chandrasekhar even going back to 'Super Troopers,' which is easily the funniest thing any of the Broken Lizard guys have done. No wonder there's talk of a sequel. To be fair, their later entries like 'Beerfest' and 'Club Dread' have their moments.

The premise is that Tommy (Schneider) is married to Audrey (Munn), but his sperm is no longer viable, so he gets together with his friends - including Oscar winner Nat Facon, and BL's Kevin Heffernan and Erik Stolhanske - to rob a sperm bank with the help of Chandrasekhar's old mob hand. 'The Babymakes' will hit theaters August 3.
