Real Pokemon Give Kaiju a Run for Their Money

Think the monsters from this summer's 'Pacific Rim' were terrifying? You obviously haven't seen these realistically rendered Pokemon yet.

Ever wondered what Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise would look like were they in a live-action Pokemon film? Artist Yuuki Morita took all the guess work out, and brought the three evolved Pokemon to life in terrifying fashion.

The renders were part of a small project of Morita's, and bringing the lead monsters of Red, Green and Blue respectively to life was no simple task. You can view more about the process on Morita's site, including more in-depth looks at the various renders for each of the classic Pokemon.

Meanwhile, we'll be here wondering if Crimson Typhoon or Gipsy Danger would stand a chance against Charizard's Inferno attack or Blastoise's Hydro Pump attack.
