Are you ready to see Jake LaMotta take on Rocky Balboa in the ring? No, not thirty years ago - now? If you answered in the affirmative, you'll be pleased to know that it's in the cards: Warner Bros. has given the greenlight to 'Grudge Match', a boxing film that pits Robert De Niro against Sylvester Stallone. That's a combined 135 years of age duking it out, fight fans!

At the helm of 'Grudge Match' is Peter Segal, best known for several Adam Sandler vehicles ('50 First Dates', 'Anger Management'). According to Deadline, Segal will be working from a screenplay penned by sitcom scribe Tim Kelleher ('In Living Color') and 'Entourage' creator Doug Ellin. With that pedigree, it's looking like 'Grudge Match' will be played for laughs, although we don't know much about the plot other than it involves two retired boxers reuniting for a bout.

Joining Sly and Bobby in the ring is comedian Kevin Hart, who is building himself into a comedy contender thanks to his role in 'Think Like a Man' and his successful stand-up specials, 'Laugh at My Pain', and 'Seriously Funny'. (He also recently hosted the MTV Video Awards, so the kids must like him.) Hart will play the fight promoter who coaxes the two senior citizens into one last bout.

While Stallone has maintained his fighting shape throughout the years and never hesitates to take his shirt off, it will be interesting to see how Bobby D prepares for this challenge. Question is, are we prepared for this round of wrinkly fisticuffs?
