We're still unsure of when we're going to get a solid look at Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling's post-'Drive' collaboration, 'Only God Forgives'. The film is opening in May in some select overseas territories (France among them), and it's been theorized that it will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, also in May, but most of the globe is apparently going to have to wait patiently. Until it is made known for sure, we'll have to make do with some new photos. Find them all after the break.

The three 'Only God Forgives' pics (courtesy of Allocine) depict, in descending order, Gosling as English gangster Julian; Kristin Scott Thomas as Julian's crime-lord mother; and Thai actor Vithaya Pansringarm as retired cop (and Julian's main antagonist) Chang, aka "The Angel of Vengeance."

The story of a criminal hiding in Thailand who sets out to avenge his murdered brother, 'Only God Forgives' figures to be catnip for art house cinephiles and movie geeks alike, thanks to both the actor and director's abilities to straddle both worlds.

We will keep you up-to-date on release date news as it comes in.
