A movie starring Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand is probably not the movie pairing you would expect but that's maybe why we find 'The Guilt Trip' so interesting. Today we have a first look at Rogen and Streisand in the upcoming comedy, which hits theaters in January.

In the film, Rogen stars as a struggling inventor who invites his widowed mother (Streisand) along on a road trip as he attempts to sell his latest product. His secret? He's trying to reuinite her with an old flame in hopes of breaking her out of a depression.

Before you go expecting a buddy comedy like 'Pineapple Express' know that 'The Guilt Trip' is directed by Anne Fletcher, director of the formulaic rom-com 'The Proposal' and written by Dan Fogelman behind the dramedy 'Crazy Sexy Love.' That doesn't necessarily make 'The Guilt Trip' a bad thing, but you probably shouldn't go in expecting a full-on knee-slapper.

'The Guilt Trip' - which co-stars Adam Scott, Danny Pudi, Yvonne Strahovski and Colin Hanks - will hit theaters on Christmas Day where it will open against 'Django Unchained' (love ya Seth, but we might have to stick with Tarantino on this match-up...).
