The remake of the popular Korean film "Oldboy" has hit some snags as of late. Casting issues have kept the film from pushing full steam ahead. Everyone from Will Smith to Clive Owen has been rumored to be cast in the American adaptation and now we can add one more name to the mix.

Variety is reporting that 'District 9' star Sharlto Copley is now in talks to play the antagonist in the new Spike Lee joint. 'Oldboy' is the story of a man imprisoned in an apartment for 15 years, and when freed, goes looking for the person who put him there. (Isn't that called "marriage?" ZING.)

Josh Brolin is going to play the protagonist in the film and will star alongside Elizabeth Olsen ('Martha Marcy May Marlene'). If you have a chance to check out the original Korean version of 'Oldboy', we highly recommend it.
