'SNL' Deleted Sketches Find New Life on Seth Meyers' 'Second Chance Theatre'

EDIT
|

Over the years, 'SNL' nixed its fair share of sketches from their late-night installments -- for one, take a look at this bizarre sketch from Andrew Garfield's latest hosting run -- but now they're getting a second chance to see the light of day. Seth Meyers, who served as 'SNL' head writer for nearly 10 years, is determined to resurrect some never-aired favorites for his new audience on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers.'

First up on Meyers' newly-minted and appropriately-named 'Second Chance Theatre'? Will Forte and his 'Jennjamin Franklin,' a sketch the former 'SNL' star reportedly pitched repeatedly and never got cleared. Perhaps you can see why, as the, uhm, steamy (would we call it steamy?) sketch imagines what it would be like if a modern woman looked just like Benjamin Franklin, and still managed to attract all sorts of admirers, like 'SNL' vets Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen and Vanessa Bayer, who all turn up in this one.
