As you're probably aware by now, Stephen Colbert of 'The Colbert Report' (and formerly of 'The Daily Show') is a huge fan of 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit,' so when given the chance to make a cameo in Peter Jackson's latest installment in the franchise, the satirical late night host jumped right on it. And thanks to the awesome power of the internet, you can now peep his cameo in 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' without leaving the comfort of your home! 

Thanks to the keen eyes of the users over at Reddit, we now have a still image of Colbert's cameo, taken from a GIF originally posted over on imgur. In the image below, you can see Colbert as a Lake-town spy in 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.' His wife and sons also made cameos alongside the 'Colbert Report' host in the film. Colbert has described himself as a huge fan of author J.R.R. Tolkien, and the cameo seems like a dream come true moment for the funny man:
