Super Smash Bros Screenshots are a Knockout

As if we weren't already chomping at the bit to get our hands on Super Smash Bros., a slew of new screenshots for the Wii U version have been released to tease us even more.

The new screens are few in number, but big on content. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so you could probably craft a bunch of narratives using these five images. We get to see a bit of returning brawler Marth, both standing up and knocked down on the ground.

We've also got a cool group shot of the Mario gang in midair, looking all kinds of impressive, perhaps on their way to beat up the one other brawler on the stage. And then there's a pretty cool long shot of a Mario Galaxy stage. We're very interested in seeing how that stage will work and what kinds of hazards it will pack.

Super Smash Bros. will be released for the 3DS and the Wii U in 2014.
