Things have been awfully quiet around Disney's upcoming 'The Lone Ranger,' but with the summer movie season rapidly approaching, we can probably expect to start seeing a lot more (and getting sick) of it sooner rather than later. Two new character posters have arrived, each spotlighting the heroes of the film: Johnny Depp's Tonto and Armie Hammer's Lone Ranger.
'The Lone Ranger' Super Bowl trailer is almost here! The cast and crew behind 'Pirates of the Caribbean' are back with this new adventure and buzz on the film has been mixed so far. Were Johnny Depp and Disney able to convince you this is a can't miss movie with the 'Lone Ranger' Super Bowl trailer?
The planned 'Justice League' movie has been in a state of constant fluctuation on both the casting and director fronts. It felt like as soon as George Miller got the job helming the project, he just as quickly lost it shortly after news of his lead actor picks came out. While Warner Bros. is still shopping around for the right person to lead the 'Justice League' team, they might at least have gotten one step closer to deciding who should follow in Christian Bale's footsteps as Batman.
'The Lone Ranger' just released its first teaser trailer, showing off Johnny Depp in yet another outlandish costume -- this time for Tonto -- and Armie Hammer in his next role as Mr. Lone Ranger himself. While we were excited to se the first official footage of some of the action sequences, scenery and makeup, we couldn't help but think of Jon Stewart and how he may or may not have an illegitimate son out there.
One of the big casting decisions for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' (as it is now so artfully titled) is the role of Finnick Odair, a survivor of previous games who's called back in for one more fight. Supposedly the choice is down to three actors: Armie Hammer, Garrett Hedlund, and Taylor Kitsch.
