Now that the cast of FOX's Batman prequel drama 'Gotham' have begun to show up on set, the network has continued issuing in-character shots to introduce its characters. The latest on deck is none other than young Bruce Wayne's trusty butler and legal guardian Alfred Pennyworth, brought to life this time around by 'Elementary' star Sean Pertwee.
Yesterday FOX's Batman-prequel series, 'Gotham,' released its first official photo in the form of Donal Logue's Harvey Bullock, though recent set photos have already shown the likes of Ben McKenzie's Jim Gordon and Robin Taylor's Oswald Cobblepot. Now, take a first look at David Mazouz's young Bruce Wayne (complete with Bat-mask!) and Camren Bicondova as a young pre-Catwoman Selina Kyle, in addition to a major scene!
Recent set photos of FOX's forthcoming Batman prequel drama, 'Gotham,' have shown off our first look at the likes of Ben McKenzie's young Jim Gordon, Donal Logue's Harvey Bullock, and even Robin Lord Taylor's sinister Oswald Cobblepot, but now FOX has given us the best look yet. Check out the first official 'Gotham' photo, featuring Donal Logue's Harvey Bullock!
Last week saw FOX's Batman prequel drama 'Gotham' essentially complete casting with the arrival of 'Touch' star David Mazouz as our young Bruce Wayne, and now we have our first look at the brooding city of the DC series namesake. Check out FOX's 'Gotham' logo, along with a lengthy brand-new synopsis that flushes out additional details of the series!
This first trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight marks the beginning of the end of Batman's ongoing one-man-war against crime, and it looks like he'll be going out swinging.
FOX's forthcoming Batman prequel series 'Gotham' recently turned a few heads with suggestions that its young Bruce Wayne could be joined by an early Catwoman/Selina Kyle appearance, and at long last both roles have been cast. 'Touch' star David Mazouz will play a young Bruce Wayne, while Camren Bicondova landed the role of young pickpocket Selina Kyle!
Warner Bros. live-action DC future got a bit more transparent earlier today with the reveal of 'The Flash' costume for 'Arrow''s forthcoming spinoff, but FOX's Batman prequel drama 'Gotham' remains something of a mystery. We know most of the cast, and a few early Batman characters peppered into the plot, but does a new report of the pilot script reveal a heaping helping of other DC baddies?
If you say you saw 'The Avengers' coming, you're a liar.
And we're not necessarily talking about the film's massive box office success or cultural impact, either. That's all after-the-fact stuff. We're talking about the fact that the film exists in the first place. We're talking about how Marvel Studios (with a little help from some deep-pocketed friends) managed to create a series of individual franchises with their own films and characters before having them all come together in a special crossover event. 'The Avengers' didn't just unite Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk, it openly acknowledged that all of these characters lived in the same world and that the events of their own films could actually have an impact on each other.
They all live in the same universe ... and audiences love it.
We presumed that FOX's forthcoming 'Batman' prequel TV series, 'Gotham,' would next set its sights on casting a young Bruce Wayne, but its latest choice is far more surprising. Jada Pinkett Smith joined the series as a regular to portray an original 'Gotham' creation as gangster Fish Mooney, none other than future "Penguin" Oswald Cobblepot's boss!

Now, thanks to series star Donal Logue, we have a bit of insight into the unusual time and place we can expect 'Gotham' to evoke, as well as the Batman comics that will end up influencing it.
