Director Peyton Reed just wrapped filming on Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ last week, but there’s still been a question mark hovering around some of the film’s other characters—we know who Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll are playing in the film, but what about the rest of that awesome cast? Marvel has officially released the synopsis and some character details for the upcoming film, which will mark the end of the studio’s Phase 2 slate.

Marvel's upcoming 'Ant-Man' has certainly been through its share of upheavals since the departure of original director Edgar Wright (even yesterday, things were a-changing for the miniature hero and his long-awaited film), but now it's time for the Peyton Reed-directed feature to really wow at Comic-Con 2014's Hall H as part of the official Marvel panel.

Michael Douglas Talks 'Ant-Man' and His Upcoming Comic-Con Appearance

Michael Douglas is not what we would call a comic book guy. Sure, the veteran actor will next star in Peyton Reed's 'Ant-Man' (and he even appears to be growing some wild facial hair for the gig), but that doesn't mean that any of this comic book stuff is in his wheelhouse. He even thinks that 'Ant-Man' is about an ant. No, really.

See the Cast of 'Basic Instinct' Then and Now

Back in 1992, director Paul Verhoeven unleashed 'Basic Instinct,' starring Sharon Stone as a writer, psychologist, and the prime suspect in a murder investigation, who strikes up an affair with the detective investigating the case, played by Michael Douglas. Originally given an NC-17 rating by the MPAA, the steamy thriller was a massive success and was praised for its groundbreaking depiction of sex in mainstream cinema. 'Basic Instinct' became so iconic that in 2006, Sharon Stone starred in a sequel without Verhoeven's involvement -- though it was a critical and commercial failure. Twenty-two years later, we're revisiting the cast of this modern neo-noir classic to see what they're up to now.

What do you get when Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline journey to Las Vegas in a movie? If this were a few decades ago, they'd probably all double cross and kill each other. But today? They get to play old buddies having one last hurrah in a similar fashion to 'The Hangover.' Because the only thing funner than old, drunk people are old, drunk movie stars. Or at least that's what everyone involved with 'Last Vegas' thinks.

'Last Vegas' Trailer: It's Like 'The Hangover' With Old People

Okay: that headline is unfair. The first 'Last Vegas' trailer isn't 'The Hangover' with old people...it's 'The Hangover' with four actors who were, once upon a time, some of the absolute best in the business. There was a time when when Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline headlining a movie would have been a major event. But what about now? The 'Last Vegas' trailer certainly thinks this is a big deal, but is it?

HBO may not have had the same fanfare that AMC did this weekend with the premiere of 'Mad Men' season 6, but we got at least one major reason to watch the pay-cable network apart from a new 'Game of Thrones' episode. The latest full trailer for Steven Soderbergh's Liberace biopic 'Behind the Candelabra' has hit, chronicling the famed relationship between the glamorous pianist (Michael Douglas) and his younger lover Scott Thorson (Matt Damon), but how does HBO's latest buzz-worthy film stand up?
