We’ve been seeing previews for ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ for quite some time now, but they’ve only really nailed it with the latest trailer. Thanks to the new red-band clip (which you probably shouldn’t watch at work), the latest film from director Matthew Vaughn finally looks like something we can get excited about ... mainly because, for the first time, we can see that this film appears to be completely and totally insane.
Samuel L. Jackson
The new trailer for ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ seemingly has everything you’d want out of a movie. There’s big, crazy action, Samuel L. Jackson acting like a lunatic, adorable puppies, a supporting cast filled with British actors that you love, and, most importantly, the simple presence of Colin Firth. The fact that Firth is playing a gentleman spy in the old school British ‘Avengers’/Sean Connery/James Bond mold is just a bonus.
It’s the movie they said would never be made. Specifically, writer/director Quentin Tarantino said that, after an early draft of the script for ‘The Hateful Eight’ leaked online. Eventually, though, Tarantino reversed himself and decided to mount the film anyway, with an amazing cast that includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kurt Russell (!), Tim Roth, Demian Bichir, Walton Goggins, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern (!!!), Channing Tatum (!!!!!), and Samuel L. Jackson (!!!!!!!).
The saga of Quentin Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight' began with the screenplay leaking online, continued with Tarantino canceling the project and then resurrecting it following a wonderfully received live reading of the script. Now, it climaxes with the official cast and synopsis being revealed. It's been a bumpy road, but there's a new QT film at the end. The journey should be worth the drama and trouble.
Those who tuned into the newest episode of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' tonight were rewarded with a little treat: brand new footage from 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' to go with that pretty sweet trailer that dropped just last week.
Seems like the internet just couldn't wait for that 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' trailer to premiere. Just last night, Marvel announced that the trailer would debut following next week's new episode of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' and tonight a pirated version found its way online. Marvel reacted quickly by posting the real deal and revealing a new teaser poster.
As the latest 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' trailer shows, Colin Firth's Uncle Jack is a firm believer of "manners maketh man," and he's willing to teach anyone this valuable lesson...the hard way!
During Marvel Studio's big presentation at Comic-Con 2014, nearly the entire 'Avengers 2' cast came out on the Hall H stage to tease their next big battle and screen the first footage for the fans. But what the audience didn't see was all the post-action. The stars came out to chat with press about all things Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the post-'Winter Soldier' S.H.I.E.L.D., and what each character is up to in this brave new world.
It was 20 years ago that 'Pulp Fiction' hit theaters and changed the landscape of modern cinema. It also launched the career of Samuel L. Jackson, who has gone on to become one of the highest-grossing actors of all-time. Despite his successes and the many roles he's had since then, Jackson can still recite the famous "Ezekiel 25:17" speech from 'Pulp Fiction' from memory.
Marvel's ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ had a rocky road building toward the 'Avengers'-adjacent series we'd wanted from the start, but now that the Marvel universe has gone kablooey, we need a little help keeping everything straight. Coulson lives, but his team in shambles, so we’d better tell you everything you need to know about Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ in 60 seconds before they’re all out of a job next season!
