‘Batman vs. Superman’ Comic-Con Panel: The Cast Introduces Brand New Footage

The Batman vs. Superman panel at Comic-Con was one of the most anticipated this year, not just for what we knew was happening — stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot were all confirmed to be in attendance — but also for what we didn’t know what would happen. Warner Bros. promised some “unexpected surprises” in addition to the new Batman vs. Superman footage and fans were camped out for many miles and hours to get a first look at the new DC Movie Universe.

Just as The Man From U.N.C.L.E. portion of the WB panel ended at Comic-Con 2015, the extended trailer for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming action flick has arrived online. And it’s very extended — the new trailer features five minutes of action-packed footage from Ritchie’s big screen reboot of the classic series, starring Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer.

20th Century Fox is holding their big Comic-Con 2015 panel tonight, where we’ll likely see new stuff from X-Men: Apocalypse and Fantastic Four. But if you can’t wait until then, you can get your first look at X-Men’s newest villain right now via an official poster that’s circulating around Comic-Con today.

There was no new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens at this year’s Star Wars Comic-Con panel. Nor was there any exclusive footage or scenes from the film. But there was a short behind-the-scenes video so full of magic and wonder that it’s hard to watch without getting a little misty-eyed. Excuse us, but it’s getting a little dusty in here.

Without a doubt, of all the toys and figures and collectibles at Comic-Con 2015, the most anticipated and desired are the new toys from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The first products from the upcoming film won’t hit stores until September 4, which Lucasfilm has dubbed “Force Friday,” but you can get a peek at the new First Order TIE Fighter and other Star Wars figures right now.

The Walking Dead Season 5 left us on a relatively safe cliffhanger teasing the reunion of Rick and Morgan, but Season 6 may well bring all the Alexandria walls down.
