'Ghostbusters 3' Dead? Bill Murray Officially Passes on the Sequel

If you still had any hope left for 'Ghostbusters 3,' feel free to casually discard it now: Bill Murray is officially, definitely no longer appearing in the film. It's been a long and dramatic journey for this dying horse, but it's safe to say maybe we should let it go with dignity now?
Not so fast -- the film will go on without Murray.

Everywhere they go, members of the original ‘Ghostbusters’ cast will be asked about the rumored third movie up until that movie’s actually playing on a screen somewhere. And every once in a while, one of those cast members will cough up a nugget of somewhat-significant news … like the fact that new writers are tackling the screenplay.

Poor Bill Murray, still having to talk about ‘Ghostbusters 3.’ The dude does a guest spot on David Letterman, and even brings his own hologram along, and still has to answer questions about a possible ‘Ghostbusters 3.’ At least he responded. What did he have to say?
