Just yesterday we got a new look at the Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and today brings even more official photos from Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero showdown. Among them you’ll find a furious Superman, a brooding Batman and a quite lovely Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman.

Just last week we heard the rumor that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller is in talks with Warner Bros. to helm Man of Steel 2 — that seemed a bit surprising, but even more surprising is today’s rumor that Man of Steel 2 might not be happening anytime soon.

Following the Batman vs. Superman info dump that came out of Comic-Con, we thought it might be a while before we saw or heard anything from the upcoming superhero movie. After all, we did get an extended new trailer, new images and a new poster. But today, we have three new Batman vs. Superman pics each showing off one of the film’s three main characters: Batman, Superman and Lex Luthor.

While it’s not a new set of official stills from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the opposing duo appear on the cover of Empire magazine, giving us a fresh look at the heroes and their costumes from Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero showdown. As you might expect, Ben Affleck’s Batman looks quite grumpy, while Henry Cavill’s Superman looks positively optimistic and ready to save the world — or defend himself against it.

Last week we got an extended sneak peek at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice via the Comic-Con trailer, but that won’t be the trailer you see in theaters — IMAX theaters, to be more specific. A new, alternate version of the trailer has dropped online, so if you don’t make it out to your local IMAX theater in the next couple of weeks, you can watch it right here.

And it’s very extended — the new trailer features five minutes of action-packed footage from Ritchie’s big screen reboot of the classic series, starring Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer.
