James Bond fans have to feel like they’re in the midst of a Golden Age. For the first time ever, every Bond film will be available on Blu-ray in one collector’s set (beginning on September 25); we’re loving the latest trailers for ‘Skyfall,’ which makes it look like Sam Mendes will be able to right the 007 ship (after the misfire that was ‘Quantum of Solace’); and now, one of the best Bond movies is coming back to theaters for a limited time only.
Okay, who had Adele in the James Bond 'Skyfall' theme song betting pool? Anyone? Oh wait, everyone? Well you're all right. Looks like the soulful British singer is indeed next in line to carry on the grand tradition of performing artists lending their vocal talents to the theme songs of James Bond films.
Now that summer's officially over, it's time to gear up for the big fall titles, and one of the biggest is the return of James Bond with 'Skyfall.' It's been four years since 'Quantum of Solace' came out, and now they've got an Academy award winning director at the helm. But can he deliver action?
Being that James Bond is one of those characters that will never go out of style, it came as no surprise to learn that we'd be getting another movie installment of the franchise in 2014. The real mystery, though, was Daniel Craig's involvement. At the time this news broke, it wasn't yet clear if our current 007 would be assuming the role again in the future, but now we can all rest assured that we'll definitely be seeing Craig all tuxed up and sipping a martini... or a Heineken.
We've got the brand new official 'Skyfall' trailer with Daniel Craig reprising his role in Bond's 23rd (!) film. It's time to class this joint up, so grab your suit and a martini (shaken, not stirred), and brace yourselves for 'Skyfall'!
Are you guys ready for James Bond's latest adventure?
We know what you want. You want to know about the exclusive IMAX 'Skyfall' trailer I saw on Thursday at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, and I want to tell you. However this is one of those cases where the context of the presentation absolutely influenced, and maybe even overshadowed, the art on display.
Indulge me, as I give you some background.
