Batman vs. Superman was recently revealed to be two hours and 31 minutes long, pretty lengthy for a superhero movie. But even despite that runtime, director Zack Snyder still had to trim some things out of the movie, namely an extended cameo from late night host Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel and his guest Ben Affleck debuted the footage on last night’s post-Oscars Jimmy Kimmel Live and it seems as if Batman and Superman may have found a common enemy.

Just a couple of months ago, a foreign website offering pre-sale tickets for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice appeared to have the official runtime for Zack Snyder’s superhero epic, clocking the film at a lengthy 151 minutes. In addition to confirming that runtime, Warner Bros. has released a few new character posters, giving Alfred, Lex Luthor and Lois Lane their very own one-sheets.

Amazon is going all in on the Woody Allen business. The streaming-video giant has made some decisive moves in their quest to supplant Netflix as the dominant player in this increasingly crowded marketplace, one of which was landing Woody Allen for an original TV series back in January 2015. Last time he checked in about it, Allen wasn’t doing so hot with the TV format — he told Deadline that he “regretted every second since I said okay” to helming the six-episode series for Amazon — but he evidently enjoyed working with the studio, because Amazon has now announced that they will release Allen’s untitled next film.

The latest trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is more like “BATMAN!!!! (And Oh Yeah Superman Too).”

Following the debut of the first official TV spot, Warner Bros. has released another spot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this one expanding upon a scene previously teased in the trailer, in which Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent and Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne have a not-so-meet-cute at a party. While the first spot featured our heroes clashing a bit more aggressively in costume, this one offers a passive-aggressive meeting between the two men as their civilian alter-egos, interrupted by that weasel Lex Luthor.

It’s time to play the speculation game. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and star Jesse Eisenberg recently sat down for an interview where they coyly revealed that the actor was almost cast in a different role in the film before he signed on to play Lex Luthor. And while they won’t tell us who Eisenberg almost played, they do offer a few more tidbits about his actual role in the film and tease a rather exciting sequence involving his hair.

Of all the marketing for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the viral content surrounding Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor has to be the silliest. Eisenberg (or a very game WB intern) already gave one interview as the famous Superman villain, and now he's given us another because Warner Bros. really, really wants us to believe that Lex Luthor — like Santa and The Struggle and pro-wrestling — is real. And in related news, there's also a new photo of this supposedly non-fictional character.

As we wait patiently for the next Batman vs. Superman trailer, we have a little something to tide us over until then. While Batman vs. Superman doesn’t have any official presence at New York Comic-Con, an upstart new tech company, LexCorp is an official sponsor of the #NYCC Wi-Fi and even has a booth on the show floor. In addition, a new LexCorp web site has launched that teases “We’ve Got a Lot to Show You” this winter.

Jesse Eisenberg’s casting as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice raised more than a few eyebrows — Eisenberg is typically known for playing nebbish, fidgety characters, but if the trailers for Batman v Superman are any indication, it looks as though Zack Snyder put those qualities to interesting use, giving us a Lex Luthor unlike any we’ve seen before.
