We’re so close, guys. So close to the end of summer movie season and the start of the fall, when the weather cools down and the movies start to get interesting again. I don’t know that The Girl on the Train is going to be an awards contender, but it certainly looks like a juicy thriller.

We may not be ready to say goodbye to HBO’s The Leftovers after Season 3, but the Damon Lindelof rapture drama has one hell of a going-away present for Justin Theroux fans. Kevin Garvey is all about that Jesus look in shirtless new photos from the third and final season, ahead of the big move to Australia.

Taken aback though fans of HBO’s The Leftovers were to learn that Season 3 would close out Damon Lindelof’s rapture drama for good, recent reports that the final year would move to Australia seemed perfectly in line with the myriad references of Season 2. HBO has confirmed very little, though Lindelof now seemingly acknowledges the production’s impending move, as well the potential for a certain ghostly figure’s Season 3 return.

HBO’s The Leftovers has almost a yearly tradition of shifting locales, but with a rumored move so drastic as Australia, many had to wonder if the third and final season would plausibly take everyone down under. Thankfully, it seems most all of The Leftovers’ Season 2 cast will participate in the final year (along with a happy promotion), though we might expect a shorter run than 10 episodes.

The Leftovers Season 2 didn’t leave us with any indication that the Garvey family’s time in Miracle had come to an end, though with Season 3 confirmed as the show’s last, the Damon Lindelof rapture drama is in for another tectonic shift. The Leftovers will move the final chapter to Australia, both in story and production.

We’re less than a week removed from the tense and poignant finale of HBO’s The Leftovers Season 2, the cap to a 2015 run already dominating year-end Top 10 lists, though the series’ low ratings suggested an ominous future ahead. Well, there’s good news and bad, as The Leftovers will indeed return for a third year, albeit as a final season.

The second season of The Leftovers came to a climactic close on Sunday night in a season finale that likely had you in a mix of tears, gasps, some laughter and probably a decent amount of confusion. If you haven’t watched “I Live Here Now” yet, stop reading now, all the spoilers follow.

We all thought Patti Levin (Ann Dowd), the fearless leader of the Guilty Remnant, was gone after last season on The Leftovers. It was utterly brutal and painful to watch, but like many things on Damon Lindelof’s metaphysical series, trauma from the past doesn’t go away easily. Here’s what the actress had to say about the latest shocking episode of the HBO show.

The adaptation of the best-selling mystery novel The Girl on the Train already boasts the incredible duo of Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson, and while it may have just lost Chris Evans, it did gain Justin Theroux, who — along with his eyebrows — has been captivating us weekly in the increasingly great second season of The Leftovers. Oh, and this very well-cast new movie also has an official release date.
