It's official: look out, Panem because the Capitol has just become the official target of a group of rebels operating out of District 13 -- a district once thought to be destroyed. The latest bit of marketing for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1' has introduced us to the official logo of District 13 and delivered a mysterious website for you to puzzle over.
Once upon a time, Hammer Films was the studio behind seemingly every great horror movie that came out of England. 'The Quiet Ones' is the latest film to be released under that resurrected brand, and the newest trailer for the film promises a movie that seems to walk hand-in-hand with the studios' classics. Well, at least in spirit. We'll have to see how the whole "quality" thing works out.
In 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' the 75th annual Hunger Games tournament (known as the Quarter Quell) draws contestants from the existing pool of victors from the 12 districts. Katniss and Peeta go face to face with seasoned fighters and dangerous new foes, but also interesting new allies Finnick, Johanna and Beetee. Joining Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson for the fight are new faces like Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Alan Ritchson. Before you head off to see this exciting new sequel, get acquainted with the new tributes and find out where you've seen them before!
The first 'Catching Fire' trailer has finally hit during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, following a slew of Capitol Couture character posters and one "teaser-for-a-teaser trailer" that didn't reveal very much of anything (other than that Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss is still PO-ed for having almost died in 'The Hunger Games'). With no more lame flaming Mockingjay symbols, check out the first actual footage from the new sequel.
'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' is still a good 11 months away but it's never too early to get our first look at one of the biggest films of the year. As Jennifer Lawrence prepares to get her second Oscar nominations for 'Silver Linings Playbook,' we've got the first official photo of Lawrence returning as Katniss Everdeen in 'Catching Fire.' Check it out below!
With the success of this year's 'The Woman in Black,' Hammer Films is officially back on the map. The studio that pushed the boundaries of horror back in the day (namely, the '50s through the '70s) has been dormant for awhile, but their return to the scene is a reason for much celebration amongst horror buffs. Now, Hammer not only has their own YouTube channel, but they have exclusive content to premiere on it! How about a sneak peek at their next release, 'The Quiet Ones'?
