Since real film fans hate people who talk and text on their cell phones during the show, it's refreshing to see that the movies themselves sometimes agree with us. This special IMAX teaser for the upcoming Tim Burton film 'Frankenweenie' was built with one purpose in mind: to remind you to shut up and turn off your phone in the theater.

This is a huge year for fans of stop-motion animation. Not only is the medium alive and well, it's been kicking major butt with studios and proving to critics that you don't need fancy CGI and 500 new software patents to make a killer animated movie. 'Frankenweenie' will be the 3rd stop-motion flick to be released this year, and these new character posters and descriptions give us a hint of the madness we can expect when it hits theaters.

'Frankenweenie' will have a big presence at Comic-Con 2012 (there are already banners hanging up in San Diego) but Walt Disney Pictures has even more plans for Tim Burton's animated film: a film festival. 'Frankenweenie' will serve as the opening night film at Fantastic Fest 2012.

'Frankenweenie,' Tim Burton's upcoming animated film, will follow Victor and his dog Sparky, we know that; but what about the rest of the characters? We've only gotten a glimpse of them so far in the teaser trailer, but today we get more information on the cute animated characters we'll see on the big screen in a couple of months.

'Dark Shadows' hits theaters today, the eighth collaboration between director Tim Burton and versatile actor Johnny Depp. But with each passing year and each film the two make, this pairing has become painful to endure and it might be time for them to call their partnership quits.
