Along with Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Warner Bros. is bringing another major franchise to Comic-Con next week — and it’s one that doesn’t feature superheroes or wizards. Kong: Skull Island will revive the iconic King of the Apes, taking us to his legendary home filled with mythical creatures, and we have a brand new, official image from the film ahead of its appearance in Hall H next week.

Tom Hiddleston hasn’t seemed particularly enthusiastic or optimistic about reprising the role of Loki in the MCU, but with Avengers: Infinity War promising the epic assembly of Marvel characters yet and a new Thor sequel on the way, the actor’s return seemed inevitable. During a recent appearance at Wizard World, Hiddleston expressed excitement for Thor: Ragnarok, teasing the evolution of his mischievous villain and confirming another run-in with the Hulk. Oh, and he also responded to those James Bond rumors.

Daniel Craig couldn’t have made it more clear during the Spectre press tour that he was pretty sick of playing James Bond. He even went so far as to suggest he’d pick slashing his wrists over returning as the famous secret agent for a fifth time. And now it looks like the actor is really done as 007, reportedly turning down a ton of money to star in the next Bond film. As big of a bummer as that is, it also means it’s time to speculate!

While we wait for the official trailer to arrive, Legendary debuted the first sneak peek at Kong: Skull Island, taking us behind the scenes of Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ epic journey into the heart of King Kong's origins. The featurette offers our first real look at the upcoming reboot, with footage from the Vietnam set and interviews with cast and crew members, and Tom Hiddleston packing a very large gun.

Tom Hiddleston has already said the upcoming third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, will be his last movie as Loki, Marvel’s delightfully evil God of Mischief. So the dude’s going to need a new job soon. Maybe weatherman?

A few days of snow nearly had me talking to cantaloupes with faces painted on them; life in a high-rise, even a fabulously posh one, would be more than enough to get me to eat my landlord‘s dog.
