The Toronto International Film Festival is considered by many critics and movie fans to be the best in the world, and the list of titles announced for this year's fest is compelling evidence that this is true. In addition to the star-studded gala premieres, the festival is hosting all kinds of fascinating films that you're going to want to keep an eye on.

While the Toronto International Film Festival is still underway, everyone is anxious to see the first showing of films like 'Cloud Atlas' and 'Argo,' and get as much information on the stars' future projects. Though the actors and actresses only attended the festival to see the premieres and promote their current works, everyone wanted to grill them on their much-talked-about, upcoming films.
For Chris Evans, that meant getting as many details about 'Captain America 2' (dubbed 'The Winter Solider') from him as possible. Thankfully, this time around, 'The Avengers' star gave us some actual information we can work with.
'Cloud Atlas,' the latest and much-anticipated movie from the Wachowski siblings, recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and much like those two trailers we got a look at, some are completely blown away by the fantastical imagery and others are utterly locked in a state of confusion.
UPDATE: Our own Jordan Hoffman has reviewed the film here.

Go see a movie!), you too can have a little taste of what's going on up there. How about a clip from the earthquake-themed thriller 'Aftershock,' which is playing as part of the fest's typically amazing Midnight Madness series?
Malick. Newell. Baumbach. Whedon. Ozon. Nair. Affleck. Redford. Some major names have tossed their hats into the proverbial ring for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, which announced its first wave of programming Tuesday morning. Wait until you hear all of the directors we’ve yet to mention.
