For nearly thirty years people have been trying to commit John Kennedy Toole's 'A Confederacy of Dunces' to film. Over those years John Belushi, John Candy, Will Ferrell, Harold Ramis, David Gordon Green, and Steven Soderbergh (among others) have been attached or rumored to be working on it. Now it looks like Zach Galifianakis will finally bring it to the big screen.

Last night, Comedy Central premiered their first 'Between Two Ferns' special, subtitled 'A Fairytale of New York.'  Host Zach Galifianakis hadn't recorded one of his popular Funny or Die shows in a while but returned last night with a whole batch of new interviews, framed around one of those Barbara Walters interview specials.  So how'd it go?

Zach Galifianakis' awkward celebrity interview webseries, 'Between Two Ferns,' is getting its own Comedy Central special. 'Mad Men' director Matt Weiner will be taking a small screen break from the popular television show about drinking, smoking, cheating on your spouse and advertising, to helm his first major motion picture that will star Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson.

Though the response to 'The Hangover Part II' was tepid, the film made $581 million worldwide, which meant that a third film was all but assured. Warner Brothers confirmed that certainty today with a new release date for 'The Hangover Part 3' plus word from director Todd Phillips told that it will be the series finale.
