Zach Galifianakis gets a few more laughs in the second official trailer for the upcoming comedy 'The Campaign,' but are you guys sold on the midwest political comedy yet?

If the first trailer for the upcoming Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis comedy 'The Campaign' didn't do it for you, then this one probably won't do much to sway your vote.

Directed by Jay Roach, who also helmed the unfortunate disaster 'Dinner for Schmucks,' 'The Campaign stars Will Ferrell as a variation on his George W. Bush character -- a politician who's never once been challenged for office, until Zach Galifianakis' simple-minded family man shows up to throw down the gauntlet.

Galifianakis is definitely doing a take on his own Seth Galifianakis character from his stand-up, including bad sweaters and that killer mustache. And while both guys are mining their own comedy closets to re-purpose material, we think combining these two characters is a promising idea. Then again, the trailers for 'Dinner for Schmucks' made that film look promising too, and we ended up with a mess of wasted potential in a film that often felt mean-spirited.

Hopefully 'The Campaign' has some better, smarter tricks up its sleeve. The latest trailer gives Galifianakis a few more jokes -- one where he has trouble working a door, an extra line or two from the dinner scene with his family, and a splendid joke about how he works out at the local Curves gym for women.

'The Campaign' hits theaters August 10.
