Okay, 'The Avengers' opens Friday, so it's time to start getting hyped for some of the rest of this summer's cinematic bounty. It's time to move on to Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises,' which opens July 20. To help we get one last trailer.

There's a lot of new footage here, but some of it comes from the Imax sequence that screened before 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.' Here we get a much better look at Anne Hathaway in action as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, a somewhat clearer sounding Tom Hardy as Bane, and footage of Christian Bale's Batman/Bruce Wayne in and out of the suit (and at one point looking a little off his game). Hathaway's character seems to walk the good girl/bad girl line inherent in the character, though it's hard to guess when in the film she gets a ride from Batman (in his plane, geez).

We also get a brief glimpse of Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman, and a couple of shots of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. If the trailer doesn't punch you in the face with 'wow' it's because it sells a slightly darker tone, which may be why the last little exchange between Batman and Catwoman falls a little flat - these films are too dour for great quipping. Still, July 20. Can't wait.
