We've seen a brief teaser for HBO Films' upcoming release of 'The Girl,' but this first full trailer gives us a better -- and much creepier -- look at Toby Jones and Sienna Miller in the story of Alfred Hitchcock's obsession with Tippi Hedren during the filming of 'The Birds.'

In 'The Girl,' Toby Jones plays master of horror Alfred Hitchcock and Sienna Miller plays Tippi Hedren, the leading lady of his classic aviary terror flick 'The Birds.' In recent years, the details of the relationship between the pair while filming have come to light with Hedren revealing the very upsetting atmosphere when working with Hitchcock on both 'The Birds' and 'Marnie.'

This full trailer seems to indicate that the film itself will replicate the eerie tone of Hitchcock's own work while telling the story of how he practically terrorized Hedren while making 'The Birds.' The film premieres October 20 on HBO, and while we haven't had a chance to see it yet, this trailer is absolutely wonderful, evoking some serious feelings of dread, horror, and claustrophobia. Jones embodies Hitchcock well, but we have a feeling this may be Sienna Miller's finest hour.

'The Girl' was written by Gwyneth Hughes and directed by Julian Jarrold -- the latter of which helmed 'The Red Riding Trilogy' and 'Becoming Jane.'
