While 'The Hateful Eight' doesn't even begin filming until early next year (headed for a December 2015 release date), we got word last week that the first trailer would be attached to prints of 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' in theaters this week. Which is cool! But, we also got word that the trailer wouldn't be appearing online. That's not so cool. If you can't wait until Friday for a sneak peek at Quentin Tarantino's next film, don't worry, it's popped up online anyway and you can watch it right now.

Because the film doesn't start shooting for another five months or so, there's no footage to show and no official cast to list. There are some beautiful animated graphics at work here though, as well as some striking musical choices ("Gimme Danger" by Iggy Pop & The Stooges and "L'Uomo Dalla Pistola D'Oro" by Angelo Francesco Lavagnino). The trailer also confirms the plan to release the film in "Glorious 70mm [Super CinemaScope]".

After almost ditching the project after the script leaked online, Tarantino has again committed to the project, reportedly bringing most of the actors from the staged live-read with him, including Kurt Russell, Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Walton Goggins and more.

If you never got a chance to read the leaked script, the ‘Hateful Eight’ plot is as follows:

A bounty hunter and his prisoner traveling by stagecoach to a town called Red Rock get stuck in a blizzard and meet other travelers along the way that need a lift. Sidetracked by the blizzard, they stop at a nearby haberdashery to take shelter until the storm passes. While holed up in this haberdashery waiting out the blizzard, coincidences stop looking like coincidences, enemies become allies, secrets escape, and lots of living things get dead.

'The Hateful Eight' is set to open in theaters next year.
