Funny thing about the Hollywood industry -- if your movie makes money, you can expect a sequel is going to be announced even if the film doesn't warrant it. It's rare when it doesn't happen ('Paul Blart'), but if audiences show up and support a movie, then chances are they'll show up again for the sequel. Such is the case with 'Think Like a Man,' the Screen gems comedy that was a surprise hit at the box office.

A press release was just issued by Screen Gems announcing that a sequel to the comedy hit that starred Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Gabrielle Union, Kevin Hart and Meagan Good will be getting a sequel. The first film raked in an impressive $91 million during its box office run in April. Here's more from the press release courtesy of Collider:

Screen Gems is moving forward with a sequel to the box office success THINK LIKE A MAN based on the  #1 New York Times Best Seller written by Steve Harvey, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man” which to date has grossed over $91 million at the domestic box office.  The sequel will be written by Keith Merryman & David A. Newman who penned the screenplay for the first film currently in theatres.  THINK LIKE A MAN was released on April 20, 2012 and was the top ranked film of the weekend with a domestic gross of $33.6 million.

'Think Like a Man' was a big hit with audiences, who are more than likely going to flock to theaters once again to see this star packed comedy sequel. There's no word yet on which stars from the first film will be returning, but we'll keep you posted.
