'S.W.A.T.' may have only ran for two seasons in 1975 and 1976, but its theme lives on in infamy. The show came courtesy of producer Aaron Spelling (as half the shows on television did from the 70s to the early 90s), and followed officers Hondo and Deacon of the S.W.A.T. force. Rhythm Heritage performed the theme, which starts with the sound of alarms before transitioning into a fast-paced orchestration, and it was so popular that it became a number one hit single.
