Though Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn will appear together in 'Anchorman 2,' and Ferrell has cameo'd in a number of Vince Vaughn's films (including possibly 'The Internship'), it's been a decade since the two co-starred in 2003's 'Old School.' But now they will get some face time together as both have agreed to star in the film 'Daddy's Home.'

Variety reports that both have signed on to the Etan Cohen film. Writer/director Cohen is probably best known for his work on scripts like 'Idiocracy,' 'Tropic Thunder' and 'Men in Black III' (and has zero relation to Coen brother Ethan). As Variety notes "The story follows a mild mannered radio exec, played by Ferrell, whose life gets chaotic when his wife’s ex-husband, played by Vaughn, re-enters the picture and he must compete to vie for his step-children’s affections."

This sounds like the perfect set up for these two, as Ferrell is always great when he's warring with someone, like John C. Reilly in 'Step Brothers,' or Sacha Baron Cohen in 'Taladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby' (though a little less so when he went up against Zach Galifianakis in 'The Campaign'). It sounds like shooting will start shortly, so expect this sometime in 2014.
