Little movement on the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie has been made since Focus Features acquired the rights to the series of books in a blockbuster deal last year. Since then there have been lots of rumors about who would direct and who would star in the film. One of the most popular rumors was that Mila Kunis would star in the film as Anastasia Steele but up until now there was no substance to the news. Now, as she's promoting 'Oz, the Great and Powerful,' Kunis says she's definitely aware of the rumors and they're not entirely untrue.

Kunis spoke to TV show 'Extra' while promoting 'Oz, the Great and Powerful' and was asked rather bluntly by host Mario Lopez, "Is it true Mila that you're interested in being in the film version of 'Fifty Shades of Grey?"

The actress answered, "I'm not disinterested..."

It's hardly a signed contract but if you're not disinterested in something, you are, by definition, interested in something (though the level of that interest can be debated). Or, she really isn't interested and is just trying to be polite to the franchise and its many, many fans. If Kunis actually wants the job, she may have to compete with Anne Hathaway who many feel has been not-so-subtly campaigning for the job in the media (the upskirt photos, the all-black outfits, etc.).

But 'Fifty Shades of Grey' still remains in development and very early development as well. Kelly Marcel (creator of 'Terra Nova') is still working on the script and any and all casting updates likely won't happen until all that is done. All that said, what do you think of Mila Kunis as a possibility to star in 'Fifty Shades of Grey?'
