Atomic Ninjas Trailer: Multiplayer Madness with Masks

Grip Games is bringing us Atomic Ninjas this summer, a 2.5D platforming multiplayer game with a bunch of crazy ninja action. What's the game all about? Why not check out the trailer for yourself.

On a post on the US PlayStation blog, CEO of Grip Games Jakub Miksyska describes Atomic Ninjas by saying if "the Fat Princess and Crash Commando had a child, it would be Atomic Ninjas (though the idea is a bit disturbing, no?)."

That should give you a bit of insight into how the game will play and how frantic it could become. Though you'll be able to jump around and shoot, you can only kill your opponents indirectly by using the environment. This can mean setting them up so that they drop into lava pits, get hit by laser beams or even get falling crates to drop on them.

You'll be able to explore seven arenas and use them as playgrounds of death, improvising just the right way to take out your opponents. Different game modes like Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Treasure Hunt and more should ensure that you'll spend plenty of time with Atomic Ninjas.

The game will be released later this summer on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita. Until then, check out the trailer above and let us know if you'd want to jump into the fray.
