Late last night, news broke of 'Bates Motel' season 2 that the first of three major roles had been filled by 'Alias' star Michael Vartan, and now it seems we have the full guest list for our second-season stay with the 'Psycho' prequel thriller. 'The Shield' star Kenny Johnson has checked in for 'Bates Motel,' along with 'Hung' star Rebecca Creskoff, but what major roles will they play for Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga)?

According to Deadline, Creskoff will take the recurring role of Christine, Norma's first real female friend, and a charming and intelligent woman who draws the Bates matriarch into the upper circle of White Pine Bay Society. Not only that, but Vartan's role as a divorcee and potential love interest for Norma is also that of Christine's elder brother.

Meanwhile Johnson, also a 'Sons of Anarchy' vet and soon to appear in 'Dexter''s final season, will take the role of Norma's estranged brother Caleb. 'Bates Motel' fans will remember that Norma confessed to being raped by her brother years earlier, while sources say the character will arrive in White Pine Bay looking for Norma to invest in a business venture. And far be it for us to say, but he looks a bit like Dylan (Max Thierot), no?

“We would be remiss if we didn’t meet some other members of the Bates family,” series creator and former ‘LOST‘ showrunner Carlton Cuse previously stated. Nestor Carbonell’s mysterious Sheriff Romero will also receive a bigger spotlight in ‘Bates Motel’ season 2, as the show will cover more of his home life, and the identity of Dylan Massett’s father may come to light, as well.

We'll bring you the latest on 'Bates Motel' season 2 as it arrives, but what say you? Are you excited to check in for the second season in 2014?
