A long time ago, Catherine Hardwicke was the director of the critically acclaimed 'Thirteen.' Then she became the director of 'Twilight' and 'Red Riding Hood' and a lot of people started scratching their heads. Will 'Plush' be her triumphant return as a director to watch? Maybe. Who knows. The real story is that the gorgeous Emily Browning is in talks to join the cast.

What is 'Plush'? According to Variety (who broke this story), the movie is about:

"...a psychic psychologist who delves into the minds of patients and sees their memories in order to help them unleash past demons. He meets his match in Browning's teen, who shares his gift."

That descriptions sounds a great deal like 2000's 'The Cell,' except with a supernatural/psychic angle in place of futuristic technology. If that premise intrigues you, don't get too excited. On other sources (including IMDB), the film's plot is radically different. Here's another "official synopsis" (this one from Coming Soon):

"After losing her band mate and brother to a drug overdose, rising rock star Hayley finds herself in a downward spiral. The second album from her band Plush is received as a critical and commercial disaster. She finds new hope and friendship in Enzo, the replacement guitarist who inspires her to reach new creative heights. But soon their collaboration crosses the line sexually and Hayley, who is married with two children, retreats from Enzo’s advances. As Hayley slowly discovers Enzo’s dark and troubled history, she realizes she may have let a madman into her home and family and that her mistake may cost the lives of people closest to her."

But which synopsis is the right one? It would be odd for an entity as in-the-know as Variety to get something this wrong. Strangely, they both manage to sound exactly like the kind of project Hardwicke would be interested in.

At this time, the only other listed cast member is 'Thirteen' veteran Evan Rachel Wood, but there's always a possibility that Browning is actually replacing her in the film. As soon as we know more (especially what the film is actually about), we'll let you know!
