It's been a while since we've had new Knight of Cups footage, and it's going to be even longer.

A new trailer for the upcoming Terrence Malick film debuted on Tuesday, but sadly it's not exactly new. The trailer features the exact same footage (and is edited in the same order) as the first trailer that debuted this time last year. There's roughly ten extra seconds in the latest trailer, but after playing the two side by side multiple times, I failed to figure out what was new. But what can you expect from a Malick film? We're lucky we didn't have to wait 10 years for his next endeavor.

A critique on Hollywood hedonism, Knight of Cups stars Christian Bale as a man who's lost his way through a life full of partying and extravagance, or at least that's what's been gathered from early reviews. The film also stars Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Antonio Banderas, Wes Bentley, Imogen Poots, Frieda Pinto, Jason Clarke, Nick Offerman and a bunch of other people. Based on the (identical) trailers, this is guaranteed to be another Malick trip through spiritual, emotional and existential crisis. If that matched with swirling shots and philosophical musings your thing (yes please!), then hopefully Knight of Cups will deliver more than To the Wonder. If not, at least there's Blanchett. Knight of Cups opens in the U.S. on March 4, 2016.
