Shailene Woodley is one busy lady. In addition to starring alongside Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' she's currently filming 'Divergent,' an adaptation of the first book in a Young Adult trilogy written by Veronica Roth. Although it's too early to say if this could be the next 'The Hunger Games' or 'Twilight,' our first official look at Woodley in the film has arrived, giving all of the fans something to talk about.

The image comes courtesy of EW and shows Woodley's Beatrice “Tris” Prior enduring a ritual that requires her to stand still while someone chucks knives at her face. You see, 'Divergent' takes place in a dystopian land that has divided the populace into five communities based on their major trait: Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful) and Erudite (the intelligent). The story finds Tris classed as a "divergent," meaning she doesn't belong to any faction, and, in being labeled, discovers a plot to end her and all those like her. This specific image (shown below) comes from a scene where our young heroine selflessly takes the place of a Dauntless initiate for the above-mentioned knife-chucking. How very Katniss of her.

Mark your calendars because 'Divergent' will arrive in theaters on March 21, 2014. The cast inclues Ashley Judd, Kate Winslet, Theo James and Zoë Kravitz and is directed by Neil Burger.
