‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season Finale Spoilers: What’s Robin’s “Something Old”?
While 'How I Met Your Mother's' airing schedule has been somewhat off and on, this Monday's all-new episode "Romeward Bound" will kick off the first of four episodes taking us straight through to the finish line, culminating in two-part season finale "Something Old" and "Something New." The final two episodes will reportedly take us through Barney and Robin's wedding, and potentially to the mother herself, but what changes can we expect from the gang? Find out the latest spoilers from the 'How I Met Your Mother' season finale inside!
'How I Met Your Mother's' Monday episode "Romeward Bound" will see the gang placed at some difficult crossroads, forcing Lily and Marshall to decide if a career move to Italy would be right for their family, while Barney finds himself preoccupied by a woman at MacLaren's. Now, however, CBS has released the official press description for the first half of season finale episode "Something Old," which might just spoil a few details from the preceding two episodes.
Bewaring spoilers, here's what CBS had to say:
ROBIN IS DESPERATE TO FIND HER “SOMETHING OLD” SHE BURIED IN CENTRAL PARK YEARS EARLIER FOR THE WEDDING, ON “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER,” MONDAY, MAY 6. Ray Wise Returns as Robin Sr.
“Something Old” — Robin is desperate to find her “something old” she buried in Central Park years earlier for the wedding. Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily ask for Ted’s help packing for Italy, and Barney bonds with Robin, Sr.
We're certainly glad to have Ray Wise back on the series as Robin Sr., and if fortune allows we'd love to see Wise cross paths with fellow 'Twin Peaks' star Kyle MacLachlan. It seems like Marshall and Lily go through with their relocation to Rome as well, but for how long? And will we see the actual wedding?
Well, what say you? Do you think 'How I Met Your Mother' is building toward its biggest finale yet? What secrets will be unearthed by "Something Old"? Give us your predictions for the end of the season in the comments!
