Like most of the world, we're betting you enjoy your sleep.  Sure, in this work-a-day lifestyle sometimes even the 9-5 workday seems obsolete, and it only takes the faintest of e-mails to drag you kicking and screaming from your bed toward a misfiled T.P.S. report.  But as long as you have to wake up, wouldn't you prefer it be to the dulcet tones of Katie Couric?

Well, good morning and good news!   A full six years after leaving behind 'The Today Show,' Deadline TV reports that Katie Couric will make her glorious return to morning television for next week's hosting duties on 'Good Morning America.'  Couric will fill in for anchor Robin Roberts, vacationing for the week.

Couric hosts 'Good Morning America' alongside host George Stephanopoulus during a particularly strong run for the show, nabbing ratings increases and slowly closing the gap with morning leader 'Today.' According to the report, For the most recent week with available data, GMA averaged 4.73 million total viewers and a 1.9/12 among adults 25-54 to Today‘s 4.99 million and 1.8/14.

Perhaps owing to a lack of sleep, Couric left 'The Today Show' six years ago, but her ABC deal for a new syndicated daytime show also includes some news duties for ABC News.

I'll definitely still be asleep, but will you tune into 'Good Morning America' to see how Couric fares in the morning chair after half a decade?  Let us know who you'd like to see host in the comments below!
