‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Review: ‘Parent Trapped’

Kim Kardashian has many talents, one of them being sensing when somebody has a rotting tooth. Her nose saved Lamar Odem a world extra hurt when she talks him into going to the dentist to get his teeth looked at in the latest episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.' He agrees to go after knowing he can be put under sedation and not have to hear a single drill. After several hours in the chair, Lamar is fired up about the dentist and it not being that scary anymore.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner's "closure" dinner date with old fling Todd Watermann leaves her feeling optimistic and seeing how much she appreciates her relationship with Bruce Jenner. Upon saying her goodbyes with Todd, she realizes that she made the right decision all those years ago when she left him to marry Bruce. Kris is excited to rush home to her husband to let him know how much he means to her.

However, Bruce does not have the reaction Kris had hoped for. Instead of embracing his wife's words, he tells her what a complete idiot she was for meeting up with Todd. Kim and her sisters -- Khloe and Kourtney -- all have the same reaction as their step-father, going as far as rigging up a lie detector test on their mom to make sure she is telling the truth. Because she has nothing to hide, Kris agrees and passes with flying colors, although the meter did spike a bit more than Bruce liked when asked about if she would like to have an affair with Todd.

To help rekindle their romance, the girls decide to rig up a romantic getaway for Kris and Bruce to go to Malibu for a few days. The first night did not go as well as their daughters hoped. Bruce slept on the couch while Kris crashed in the master bedroom suite upstairs. The next morning, a little progress is made when the two reminisce about how quickly time flies, especially when it comes to their kids. By the afternoon, the couple flip through a photo album Kim put together of their past 20-plus years. It was the extra push they needed to put their problems behind them and focus on the future.
