In the latest 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' Khloe and Lamar return home to Los Angeles after he is released from playing for the Dallas Mavericks. Bittersweet about the transition, Khloe tries to keep her life and marriage in balance while settling back into her beautiful California digs. Her sisters are all eager to get the old Khloe back, but the pressure and stress of being pulled in many directions only makes the transition for the couple even harder to get through.

Meanwhile, the Kardashian clan all gears up for Scott's grand opening of his new restaurant in New York City. Now that Khloe is back home, the family expects her to make the trip to New York for Scott's big day, but Khloe does her best to explain that she's not going because she needs time with her husband during the strange time. After Khloe and Lamar have a lunch outing with Bruce and Kris, Bruce gives an emotionally driven and inspiring talk to his son-in-law, encouraging him to not give up on goals and dreams, and to get his mental game back.

In addition to his big opening of his New York City restaurant, Scott is hired to host a Sweet Sixteen birthday party in the Big Apple. Rob accompanies Scott for his trip to keep a close eye on Kourtney's boyfriend and to keep him in check, even going as far as coming up with a code word to use if Rob thinks there is anything inappropriate happening. But Scott takes more away from the party than just a check; he also gains the sentiment of knowing he will soon be the father to a little girl as well, and promises himself that he will do anything to make her happy.

Bruce has his own emotional issues happening with his two youngest -- Kendall and Kylie. The reality sinks in that his little girls are not so little anymore and are growing up way too fast. After Kendall's new car gets a flat tire, Bruce uses that as a reasonable excuse to put the car in the shop, forcing his girls to depend on him for rides, just like it used to be before his ninth child turned 16 and got her driver's license.

However, he isn't able to fool the girls for long. After several days of the car being in the shop, Kendell gets suspicious and calls to check how much longer they will be working on her recent birthday present. She learns that the car has been ready for two days and calls Bruce out for lying to her. He simply tells his daughters that he feels like they don't need him in their life anymore. They share a special daddy-daughter moment, and make a pact to be better about including their dad in on activities.

The first part of the two-part episode comes to an end after Kim Kardashian and Kourtney corner Khloe one last time about the trip to New York City with the family. Khloe is openly honest with her sisters, who then say she is acting like an "Odem" rather than a "Kardashian," to which Khloe agrees. Cue the villainous music.

The episode will wrap up the loose ends in an all-new special episode to air Monday night, July 9. Stay tuned to ScreenCrush for your complete recap of all the drama as it continues to unfold.
