Now that Kristen Wiig has left 'Saturday Night Live,' we know she's been working on some of her own projects after her huge success with 'Bridesmaids.' But what might be the next project she signs up for is exciting: She could be playing Brick Tamland's love interest in 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues.'

This comes from The Wrap who note that the pieces are still in play, and not everything has been hammered out yet, so this could easily fall through. But we knew from the second this film was announced that a number of great comedians were likely to cameo, as the first film was chock full of other famous comedy players. Wiig wasn't on the radar when the first 'Anchorman' hit theaters in 2004, but the idea of her playing against Steve Carell's idiot weatherman Brick Tamland is rife with possibilities. If everyone wants to do it, we're sure they'll work around schedules to make it happen, so it's hard to say if it's a larger or smaller role.

Wiig is keeping busy regardless. She'll be in next year's 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' opposite Ben Stiller, has 'Hateship, Friendship" with Guy Pearce, and will provide voices for both 'Despicable Me 2' and 'How to Train Your Dragon 2.'
