Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell are currently filming 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues,' but the pair already have plans to get the band back together with 'Welcome to Me.'

THR reports that Adam McKay has already lined up his next producing project: a film called 'Welcome to Me,' set to be directed by McKay's wife, Shira Piven. Will Ferrell will produce alongside partner McKay through their Gary Sanchez productions banner, with Kristen Wiig in talks to take the lead.

Based on a script by 'The Big Gay Sketch Show' writer Eliot Laurence, 'Welcome to Me' follows a woman with dissociative personality disorder who wins the lottery and decides to blow all the money on making her own cable access show so she can talk about her life and experiences. It sounds like the perfect role for Wiig, who was a hit on 'SNL' with signature characters like Gilly, Dooneese, Penelope, and the Target lady. A woman with dissociative personality disorder seems right up her alley.

Wiig has been a busy little bee since departing from 'SNL,' and currently has several films lined up for release: 'Girl Most Likely,' 'Despicable Me 2,' The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,' 'The Skeleton Twins,' and 'Hateship, Loveship.' She recently joined the cast of the upcoming sequel, 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues,' where she'll play Steve Carell's love interest.
