Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, and Tobey Maguire are three handsome actors with big wallets and ideas to spare, so they're joining forces to produce a drama about animal-trafficking based on an idea from Hardy himself.

We can only hope any or all three of them will also star in the drama, which is being compared to Steven Soderbergh's 'Traffic' in the way it will portray multiple story arcs that intertwine. According to The Hollywood Reporter, all three men will produce the film, which will follow poachers and the fight to stop them in the African Savanna and how the pelts of animals end up being used for high-end fashion. The untitled project will examine every element of animal trafficking from its genesis to where the animals (and their parts) go.

Currently the three gentlemen are searching for a writer to script the project. DiCaprio and Maguire have been friends for several years, while DiCaprio and Hardy starred together in Christopher Nolan's 'Inception.' Hardy has been a breakout star this year with roles in 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Lawless,' and is now looking to produce and finance projects of his own.

While this project sounds interesting, we can't wait to find out if we'll get to see these guys star in the movie together as well. Just imagining them hanging out and talking about how much they love animals is enough to give us a serious case of the "awww"s.
