It’s very much real and very much happening, much to our delight: The Lonely Island’s new Judd Apatow-produced movie is currently in production, and now the trio have been given an official release date. Conner4real will officially make you laugh until it hurts next summer.

According to Deadline, Conner4real (which may be a working title or code name for the project) will hit theaters on June 3, 2016, showing that Universal has a ton of faith in the new comedy film from the Lonely Island trio.

Members Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone are directing the project, which they also star in alongside fellow Lonely Islander Andy Samberg. Although plot details have been under wraps, the project is said to center on a former boy band member who embarks on a solo career — but when his rap album bombs, he’s forced to reunite with his fellow bandmates to resuscitate his career. It’s also reportedly a satirical film inspired by pop star concert documentaries/vanity projects like Katy Perry: Part of Me and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

The film also stars fellow SNL alums Tim Meadows and Sarah Silverman as Samberg’s overburdened manager and his sly publicist, respectively. Imogen Poots has reportedly been in talks to play Samberg’s love interest, although her casting has yet to be confirmed.
